"Pretty Flamingo: A Novel" by Perry Martin, author, musician, songwriter and producer
was launched in Hong Kong at The Book Attic on 17/07/2012. Perry sang a number of
songs and shared with book and music lovers his passion in music and writing.

"Pretty Flamingo" is Perry first novel inspired by his experiences and actual events. The
novel is now under a film development by producer Sandy Hockenbery and director Tom
Wozny of Red Horizon Films.

Author Biography:
Over the years Perry has worked with or been the supporting act for the Bee Gees,
Ambrosia, Little River Band, Lonestar and country legend Lefty Frizzell... among others.

As a teenager Perry toured the length and breadth of South Vietnam with country band
"The Donnie James Show". The became so popular they landed their own weekly TV show
titled "Nashville Vietnam".

He spent 12 years in Hong Kong where he released three albums of original songs before
moving to the United States.
